SchultzeWORKS: “Philco Computer.” Alas, just a concept now but so very fine; the “Predicta“-type computer/monitor is waykewl but the keyboard is exceptionally wantable on its own! Get thee hence and drool.

(You know, that is just how Edger keyboards look…. Coincidence, or does the designer know more than he lets on?)

Huge hat-tip to the reader who pointed out this splendid design!

    >WANT!! Want, want, want.Needs more control buttons, tho. Or a door concealing necessary controls so the sheer "swayvitty-and-de-bonerness" still shines through. As you said – that keyboard kicks boo-TAY. I'd buy one even though I don't use my desktop anymore….

    >Nice design that brings back memories. The original Philco was a hot chassis B/W box with as much as 1.2 mHz of video bandpass and a sync circuit that thought any black was a horizontal sync pulse. And NO room inside either section to work on it. No fun at all, either for the consumer or the tech. It was much like some of the chairs from the late 1950's and early '60. Made to sell, not to watch. For a bit box the design would probably be very good, with the buttons behind one side of the monitor, and/or on the keyboard. Or for a decent modern TV chassis with a flat screen monitor and no sizzling from the HV in the upper section. That could be made to give a real Raymond Loewy look. I would likely by one of either – but I would not be first in line.Stranger
